Ries Road (2025)

Project Overview

In 2025, the City of Ballwin will resurface Ries Road to address deteriorated pavement. Benefits include a smoother driving surface, upgraded and more cost efficient street lighting, and compliance with federal regulations. Approval of federal funding was received for the resurfacing of Ries Road, to which the City will receive reimbursement of 80% of the total construction cost.

This is a resurfacing project and not a street reconstruction. Since this project was made possible by a grant, the City is bound to the project specifications submitted during the grant process, and is limited in its ability to work outside of the approved scope of the project. That being said, we will take into account the input received from our community and work to implement any possible suggestions, while continuing to stick to the project scope and remain fiscally responsible.
