Latest News & Announcements12.12.17 North Pointe Renovations to be Completed Before 2018 Pool Season At the Board of Aldermen meeting on Monday, December 11, Director of Parks and Recreation Linda Bruer presented information to the board regarding the North Pointe renovation project. The project has been approved and the City has received a grant to fund a portion of this project. Concluding the RFQ process, the bid was awarded to Westport Pools. The renovation will improve the part of the pool known as "Bucket Falls." This feature will be replaced with a new customized unit, which will bring something fresh and fun to pool-goers. The new design is pictured below and features a Wood Clad Wrapping on Tipping Bucket, Painted Pale Bucket, Kite, 8' x 8' Raft Roof, Sculpted Branch with White Flag, Faux Finished Barrel, Sculpted Grain Sack, Faux Finished Oar, Gas Lanterns, Clothes on a Line, Wood Cladding Skirt Graphics, Partially White Washed Picket Fence. The project will begin almost immediately, as the elements need to be ordered many months in advance. While the unit is in production, Ballwin staff will prepare the pool to ensure a smooth transition once the parts are received. The entire project will be completed May 1, 2018--in plenty of time before the pool opens for the summer on May 26, 2018.
