Applications for declaration of candidacy may be obtained at the Ballwin Government Center, beginning at 8:00 a.m. Positions for re-election are: Mayor January 15: Closing of candidate filings for the April 2 General Municipal Election. Declaration of candidacy must be received by 5:00 pm January 22: Closing for receiving certification of election forms by 5:00 pm for the April 2 General Municipal Election. See 115.125. February 19: Absentee voting opens for the April 2 General Municipal Election. See 115.279(3). St. Louis County Board of Elections: Saturday absentee voting times vary. Check www.stlouisco.com for each election. March 6: Last day to register to vote for the April 2 General Municipal Election. See 115.135(1) visit www.stlouisco.com to register. March 22: Last day to file as a write-in candidate for the April 2 General Municipal Election. Write-in candidates must file at the St. Louis County Election Board at 725 Northwest Plaza Dr. St. Ann by 5:00 pm See 115.453 (4). March 27: Last day absentee applications will be accepted for the April 2 General Municipal Election. Applications must be received by 5:00 pm through the mail or in person from a guardian or relative of the applicant. See 115.279(3). March 30: Office opens for absentee voting (please check for times) in the April 2 General Municipal Election. St. Louis County Board of Elections: Saturday absentee voting times vary. April 1: Last day for voting an absentee ballot in person at the Election Board office for the April 2 General Municipal Election by 5:00 pm St. Louis County Election Board at 725 Northwest Plaza Dr. St. Ann.
